Left the hotel at 3:30am, went through almost 6-hr, rock & roll journey, in the near freezing cold weather to see what the canyon is famous for – the condors. Alas, after 2 clicks on the camera, the birds flew away, never to return again despite the assurance from our local guide that ‘shop first, the birds will come back’!
